The Police Explorer Program is designed for young people, ages 14 through 21, who are interested in the criminal justice field and want to experience first-hand what it’s like to work in law enforcement. Explorers must be currently enrolled in an educational institution and maintain a 2.0 GPA.  

The program encourages leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. Explorers participate in many activities, including:

• Community Outreach
• Self Defense
• Taser Training
• Patrol Procedures
• Traffic Stops
• Radio Communication
• Vehicle Operations
